Note: Fauna has shut down
Fauna permanently shut down on May 30, 2025. All accounts and data were deleted. There are no active subscriptions to cancel. If you were a paying customer, no further action is required.
Log in to the Fauna Dashboard
Visit https://dashboard.fauna.com and sign in with your credentials. This only applies if you are trying to manage a legacy account prior to the shutdown date.
Email support to request cancellation
Fauna had no self-service cancellation button. Send an email to support@fauna.com requesting a downgrade to the Free plan or full account cancellation. Include your account email and the reason for cancellation.
Wait for the effective date
Cancellations and downgrades took effect on the first business day of the following month. There was no option to cancel immediately or stop charges mid-cycle.
Receive final invoice
A final invoice was generated covering the full current month's usage plus any on-demand overages accrued up to the effective cancellation date.
Request full account deletion (optional)
To permanently delete all data, create a database named exactly 'delete_request_YYYYMMDD' (e.g. delete_request_20240801) in your dashboard, then open a support ticket at https://support.fauna.com confirming the deletion request. Fauna used this database name as verification before processing the deletion.
