What happens to my tests after I cancel?

Your tests remain accessible in Testim for up to 30 days after cancellation. After that period they are removed. On the Professional plan you can export tests to Puppeteer, Selenium, or Playwright format before cancelling.

Will I receive a refund after cancelling?

No public refund policy is documented. For monthly self-serve plans, access continues until the end of the current billing period with no further charges. Enterprise/annual contract refunds must be negotiated directly with your Account Executive.

Can I cancel an annual or enterprise contract mid-term?

No — annual contracts cannot be cancelled mid-term through self-serve. You must contact your Account Executive to negotiate an early exit, which may involve penalties or require waiting until the renewal date.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time through the Plans tab in your Company Settings. A new payment setup may be required.

What plan do I revert to after cancelling a paid plan?

Your account reverts to the Community (free) plan, which includes limited monthly cloud test runs and access to self-help resources. Live chat and email support are not included on the Community plan.

Who is allowed to cancel — can any team member do it?

No. Only the Company Owner role has access to the Subscription/Plans screen. Regular team members and admins cannot manage billing or initiate cancellation.

Log in as Company Owner

Go to app.testim.io and log in. Only the Company Owner role can manage subscriptions — regular admins and members cannot access billing settings.

Open Company Settings

Click your user avatar in the top-right corner, then under the 'Company' section click your company name.

Navigate to the Plans tab

Select the 'Plans' tab within your company settings. This is the Subscription screen restricted to Company Owners.

Go to Billing

Navigate to Account Settings > Billing and select the 'Subscriptions' tab to view your active plan.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Find your active subscription and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button.

Complete the feedback form

A reason/feedback prompt will appear. Fill it in and confirm your cancellation decision.

Confirm cancellation

Follow the confirmation prompts to finalize. You should receive a confirmation email once cancellation is processed.
