Can I still use Close after I cancel?

Yes. Your account remains fully active until the end of your current billing period. After termination, your data is retained for 30 days before Close may permanently delete it.

Are there any refunds when I cancel?

Close's Terms of Service state that all fees are non-refundable. The only exception is if Close itself terminates your account without cause, in which case they will refund the prorated unearned portion of prepaid fees. Fee disputes must be submitted within 60 days in writing.

Can I undo my cancellation?

Yes. Before your billing period ends, go to Settings > Plan and click 'Undo Cancellation' to resume your subscription. After the account is fully terminated you would need to sign up again or contact support.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Your data remains retrievable for 30 days after account termination. After 30 days, Close may permanently delete all content. Before canceling, export your data from Settings (Close will email you a download link) and port out any phone numbers provisioned through Close.

Who can cancel the Close account?

Only users with an Admin role can cancel. Standard users do not have access to the billing/plan settings needed to initiate cancellation.

Does canceling my primary organization affect linked organizations?

Yes. If you have a primary organization with linked secondary orgs, canceling the primary will cancel all linked secondary organizations on the same date. Secondary organizations can be canceled independently without affecting the primary.

Log in to Close

Go to app.close.com and sign in with your admin credentials. Only users with an Admin role can cancel the account.

Open Settings

Click on 'Settings' from the sidebar or top navigation.

Go to Billing

In Settings, click on 'Billing' in the left menu.

Select Plan

Click on 'Plan' within the Billing section to view your current subscription details.

Click 'Cancel your account'

Click the 'Cancel your account' link or button at the bottom of the Plan page.

Confirm cancellation

Follow any confirmation prompts. Your account will be scheduled for cancellation at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until that date.
