When does my access end after I cancel?

For monthly plans, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. For annual plans, it takes effect at the end of the full subscription term. Free plans are cancelled immediately.

Will I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Matterport does not issue refunds for any unused portion of a subscription, regardless of plan type.

What happens to my 3D spaces after cancellation?

At the end of your subscription, all your Matterport spaces are automatically set to private. Any previously shared links will return an error for viewers. Your spaces are not immediately deleted, but you lose the ability to share them publicly.

Can I undo a cancellation?

Yes. The Account Owner or Billing Contact can reverse a pending cancellation at any time up until midnight PST on the renewal/expiry date. Go back to my.matterport.com/settings/account/billing to undo the cancellation.

Can I reactivate my account after it fully lapses?

Yes, you can reactivate by selecting a new paid plan from your account settings. Your existing spaces should still be accessible (though private) upon reactivation.

Can a team member or admin cancel on my behalf?

No. Only the Account Owner can initiate a subscription cancellation. Team members and collaborators do not have access to billing settings.

Log in to Matterport Cloud

Go to my.matterport.com and sign in with your account email and password. Only the Account Owner can cancel a subscription.

Open your profile menu

Click your profile icon or avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard to open the account dropdown menu.

Go to Account Settings

Select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu to open your account settings page.

Navigate to the Billing tab

Click the 'Billing' tab (or go directly to my.matterport.com/settings/account/billing) to access your subscription and payment details.

Initiate cancellation

Click 'Change Plan' or 'Cancel Subscription' on the billing page. You may be presented with a downgrade-to-free option as an alternative.

Confirm the cancellation

Review the cancellation summary — it will show your access end date (end of current billing cycle for monthly/annual plans). Click 'Confirm Cancellation' to finalize.
