Can I cancel my Rasa subscription mid-term?

No. Rasa subscriptions are annual contracts. You can choose not to renew at the end of your term, but mid-term cancellation is not a standard option outside of breach-of-contract scenarios. You will retain access until the end of your paid term.

Will I get a refund if I cancel?

No. All fees paid to Rasa are non-refundable for standard cancellations. The only exception is if the software fails to meet its stated warranties, in which case Rasa may refund fees proportional to the remaining subscription time.

How far in advance must I notify Rasa to cancel?

You must provide written non-renewal notice at least 60 days before the end of your current 12-month Subscription Term. Missing this deadline results in automatic renewal for another full year.

Can I downgrade to the free Developer Edition instead of cancelling?

Not mid-term. You may choose to move to the free Developer Edition at renewal, but you cannot downgrade during an active paid subscription term.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Upon termination you must discontinue use of Rasa software and destroy all copies. Any confidential information shared with Rasa must be returned or securely deleted upon written request. You retain ownership of your customer data (inputs) throughout.

Can I reactivate my Rasa subscription after cancelling?

Yes, but it requires going through a new sales process — signing a new order form and contract. Contact the Rasa sales team at rasa.com/contact to restart a subscription.

Review your contract end date

Log into your Rasa account or check your original order form to find your Subscription Term end date. You must submit cancellation notice at least 60 days before this date or you will be auto-renewed for another 12-month term.

Contact your Customer Success Manager

Reach out to your dedicated CSM (assigned on all paid Growth and Enterprise plans). Inform them you wish to cancel/not renew at the end of your current term. You can find their contact details in your onboarding email or Rasa support portal at support.rasa.com.

Send formal written non-renewal notice

Send a written cancellation notice to legal@rasa.com (or via certified mail to: Rasa Technologies, Inc., Attention: Legal Counsel, 4 Embarcadero Center, Suite 1400, San Francisco, CA 94111-4164). State your company name, subscription details, and intent not to renew. Request a written acknowledgment of receipt.

Receive acknowledgment

Wait for written confirmation from Rasa's legal or account team that your non-renewal notice has been received and processed. Keep this confirmation for your records.

Discontinue use at term end

At the end of your Subscription Term, discontinue all use of Rasa products and destroy all copies of software per Section 6.3 of the Commercial Terms. Request deletion or return of any confidential data shared with Rasa.
