Will I lose access to premium features immediately after canceling?

No. Your Premium, Metal, or Ultra features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account automatically reverts to the free Standard plan.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

Revolut generally does not offer prorated refunds for unused subscription time. However, if you cancel within the first 10 days there may be a fee, and if you cancel within the first 10 months of a monthly subscription an early termination fee may apply. Annual plan holders receive no refund but pay no extra cancellation fee.

Can I reactivate my paid plan after downgrading?

Yes. You can upgrade back to Premium, Metal, or Ultra at any time by going to Profile → Plan → Change plan in the Revolut app and selecting the desired tier.

Can I cancel through the Revolut website?

No. Revolut requires all plan downgrades to be completed through the mobile app. There is no web-based cancellation option available.

What happens to my Metal card after I downgrade?

Your physical Metal card continues to work as a standard debit card, but you lose the premium perks associated with it such as higher ATM withdrawal limits, travel insurance, and airport lounge access.

How do I fully delete my Revolut account and data?

Downgrading your plan only cancels the subscription — it does not close your account. To close your account and request data deletion, you must transfer out all funds, cancel all scheduled payments, and then go to Profile → Settings → Close account inside the app. Account closure is a separate process from plan cancellation.

Open the Revolut app

Launch the Revolut app on your iOS or Android device and log in using your PIN or biometrics.

Tap your profile icon

Tap the profile icon in the top-left corner of the home screen to open your account menu.

Tap your current plan name

Tap your current plan name (e.g. 'Premium', 'Metal', or 'Ultra') shown beneath your name to open the plan details screen.

Tap 'Change plan'

On the plan details screen, tap 'Change plan' to see available plan options including the free Standard tier.

Select 'Standard' and tap 'Downgrade to Standard'

Choose the Standard (free) plan and tap the 'Downgrade to Standard' button. Revolut will display a list of features you will lose upon downgrading.

Confirm the downgrade

Review the feature loss summary, then tap 'Continue' or 'Downgrade' to confirm. A confirmation screen will appear indicating the downgrade has been scheduled.
