Can I keep using Honeycomb after cancelling my Pro plan?

Yes. Your Pro plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, if you downgraded to Free, you retain access under the Free plan limits (reduced data volume and retention). If you requested full account deletion, access ends when the deletion is processed.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

No. Honeycomb's Terms of Service state that all fees are non-refundable and non-cancelable. The only exception is if Honeycomb itself terminates your Pro plan, in which case you receive a prorated refund for the remaining subscription term.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Upon account termination, Honeycomb may delete all customer data and accepts no liability for deleted data. You are solely responsible for exporting any data you need before cancellation. When downgrading from Pro to Free, Honeycomb retains existing data up to the 60-day retention window.

Can I reactivate my Pro plan after cancelling?

Yes. If you downgraded to Free rather than deleting your account, you can re-upgrade to Pro at any time via Account → Team Settings → Billing → Update Plan. If your account was fully deleted, you would need to create a new account.

Who is allowed to cancel or change the plan?

Only users with the **Team Owner** role can access billing settings and modify the plan. If you don't see the Billing tab, you likely don't have Owner permissions — contact your Team Owner to make the change.

When does my cancellation take effect?

For Pro plans (monthly or annual), cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription term, not immediately. For the Free plan, cancellation or account deletion takes effect immediately upon Honeycomb receiving your notice.

Log in to Honeycomb

Go to https://ui.honeycomb.io and sign in with your account credentials.

Open Team Settings

Click your avatar or the **Account** icon in the left-hand sidebar, then select **Team Settings** from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Billing

On the Team Settings page, click the **Billing** tab to view your current plan and billing details.

Click Update Plan

Click the **Update Plan** button to see available plan tiers. Select the **Free** plan to downgrade (this effectively cancels your paid Pro subscription).

Confirm the downgrade

Review the plan change details in the confirmation modal showing your current plan vs. the Free plan, then click **Confirm** to complete the downgrade. Your Pro plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Request full account deletion (optional)

If you want your account fully deleted rather than downgraded to Free, email **support@honeycomb.io** from the email address registered to your account, or use the in-app chat (Account → Contact Us in the left sidebar) to request deletion.
