1

Confirm there is no subscription

Visit playwright.dev — Playwright is a free, open-source testing framework (Apache-2.0 license). There is no paid subscription, no account, and no billing associated with playwright.dev itself. Nothing to cancel.

2

Check if you mean Microsoft Playwright Testing (Azure)

If you are paying for testing minutes, you are likely using 'Microsoft Playwright Testing' — a separate Azure cloud service (not playwright.dev). Sign in to portal.azure.com with your Microsoft account.

3

Open your Playwright Testing workspace

In the Azure portal, navigate to 'All resources' or search 'Playwright Testing' in the search bar. Select your workspace resource.

4

Delete the workspace resource

On the workspace overview page, click 'Delete' in the top toolbar. Confirm deletion by typing the resource name when prompted, then click 'Delete'. This stops all billing.

5

Cancel Azure subscription if no longer needed

If the Playwright Testing workspace was your only Azure resource, go to portal.azure.com → 'Subscriptions', select your subscription, click 'Cancel subscription', and follow the prompts.
