Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. Cancellation (downgrading to the Free plan) takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access and all features until that date.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Trigger.dev's Terms of Service state that service fees are non-refundable. Overage fees are billed in arrears at period end. Refunds are only issued in exceptional circumstances (e.g. a major outage), not as standard policy.

How do I reactivate my paid plan?

Simply return to the Plans tab in your organization dashboard at https://cloud.trigger.dev and select a paid plan. Your account and data remain intact after downgrading.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

By default, passive deletion applies — your data is retained for a grace period per Trigger.dev's Data Deletion Policy before being removed. You can request immediate active deletion by contacting their support team.

Can I still run tasks on the Free plan?

Yes. The Free plan includes a monthly compute allowance and allows you to continue running tasks, but with lower limits on concurrency, run duration, and monthly compute credits compared to paid plans.

Log in to Trigger.dev Cloud

Go to https://cloud.trigger.dev and sign in to your account.

Select your Organization

Use the organization switcher in the top-left corner to select the organization whose subscription you want to cancel.

Open the Plans tab

In the sidebar or organization menu, click on the 'Plans' tab — this is the billing management hub.

Select the Free plan

On the Plans page, locate the Free tier and click 'Downgrade to Free' (there is no separate 'Cancel' button; switching to the Free plan is the cancellation mechanism).

Confirm the downgrade

Review the confirmation prompt and confirm the change. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
