Will I get a refund when I cancel?

No. Chatbase's fees are non-refundable. You retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period and will not be charged for the next cycle.

What happens to my chatbots after cancellation?

Your AI agents remain accessible on the Free plan with reduced limits (50 message credits/month, 400 KB per agent). Agents are deleted after 14 days of inactivity on the free tier.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. Before your paid period ends, go to Settings > Plans and select a paid plan to reverse the cancellation. After the downgrade takes effect, you can resubscribe at any time.

What happens to my data?

Your data remains accessible on the free plan. If you request full account deletion, Chatbase deletes all user data within 30 days. Your data is never used to train other AI models.

Can I cancel via email instead?

Yes. You can email billing@chatbase.co to request cancellation in writing. Chatbase must confirm the cancellation per their Terms of Service.

Go to chatbase.co and log in to your account.

Open Settings

Click your profile/account icon in the top-right corner and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to the Plans tab

Inside Settings, click the "Plans" tab to view your current subscription.

Click "Cancel Plan"

Find your active plan and click the "Cancel Plan" button.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the cancellation in the dialog that appears. You will receive a confirmation email. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, then downgrades to Free.
