Log in to your Lumar account
Go to app.lumar.io and sign in with your credentials.
Check Account Settings for self-service option
Click your profile or account icon in the top-right corner and navigate to Account Settings or Billing. Some plan types may show a cancellation option here — look for a 'Cancel Subscription' or 'Manage Subscription' link.
Export your data
Before cancelling, export any crawl data, reports, or project settings you want to keep. Use the export functions within each project. Data remains accessible until your account expires, but export it early to be safe.
Contact support to cancel
If no self-service cancel button is available (common for enterprise/annual plans), email support@lumar.io or contact your dedicated account manager directly. State clearly that you wish to cancel your subscription and request a written confirmation of the cancellation date.
Confirm cancellation and end date
Ask the support team to confirm the exact date your subscription will end and that auto-renewal has been disabled. Get this in writing (email) to protect against auto-renewal clauses in annual contracts.
Request data deletion if needed
After cancellation, your account enters a dormant state — data is NOT automatically deleted. If you want your data permanently removed, submit a separate explicit deletion request to support@lumar.io.
