Can I get a refund if I cancel mid-billing period?

No. Calibre's Terms of Service explicitly state no refunds are issued except as required by law. You will not receive a prorated refund for unused time.

Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?

Yes. Calibre offers a pause feature (up to 90 days per calendar year). Your data is preserved during the pause and unused billing time converts to an account credit applied when you reactivate.

Who can cancel the Calibre subscription?

Only an Organization Administrator can cancel. Regular members do not have access to billing or cancellation. If the original admin has left, you must first promote another user to admin before cancelling.

Can I reactivate after cancelling?

You can create a new Calibre organization and subscribe again, but previously deleted data cannot be recovered. If you paused instead of cancelling, reactivation restores full access including all historical data.

Does cancelling also delete my personal Calibre account?

No. Cancelling the organization subscription deletes the organization and its data, but your personal user account remains. To delete your personal account separately, go to avatar → Profile Settings → 'Delete my account' and type DELETE to confirm.

Export your data

Before cancelling, export all your performance data using the data export feature in your account — cancellation deletes all data immediately and irreversibly.

Go to Billing

Log in as an Organization Administrator at calibreapp.com and click 'Billing' in the main navigation. Only org admins can cancel; regular members do not have this option.

Consider pausing instead

Under 'Your subscription', Calibre prominently offers a 'Pause' button as an alternative to cancellation. Pausing preserves all data and converts unused billing time to account credit for up to 90 days — skip this if you want to fully cancel.
