1

Sign in to Google Cloud Console

Go to console.cloud.google.com and sign in with the Google account that owns your Dialogflow project. Make sure you have the Billing Account Administrator role.

2

Delete your Dialogflow agent (optional cleanup)

In the Dialogflow ES console (dialogflow.cloud.google.com) or Dialogflow CX console (dialogflow.cloud.google.com/cx), open your agent, go to Settings (gear icon), scroll to the bottom, and click 'Delete Agent'. Confirm by typing the agent name. This is optional but prevents accidental future usage.

3

Navigate to Cloud Billing

In the Google Cloud Console, open the navigation menu (hamburger icon top-left), scroll down to 'Billing', and click it. Alternatively go directly to console.cloud.google.com/billing.

4

Open Account Management

In the left sidebar under Billing, click 'Account management'. This brings you to the overview page for your Cloud Billing account at console.cloud.google.com/billing/manage.

5

Disable billing on the project

To stop Dialogflow charges without closing your entire billing account, go to the 'My projects' tab, find the project with Dialogflow, click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to it, and select 'Disable billing'. Confirm in the dialog. This immediately stops all billable APIs in that project including Dialogflow. Alternatively, to close the entire billing account, click the 'Close billing account' button at the top of Account management.

6

Confirm and review final charges

A confirmation dialog warns: 'Closing an active Cloud Billing account stops all billable services in any projects linked to the account.' Click 'Close billing account' (or 'Disable billing') to confirm. You will receive one final invoice for any usage accrued before the cancellation.

7

Optionally shut down the Google Cloud project

To permanently delete the project and all data, go to console.cloud.google.com/iam-admin/projects, find your project, click the three-dot menu (⋮), and select 'Shut down'. Enter the project ID to confirm. Projects enter a 30-day pending deletion period before permanent removal.
