Review your contract terms
Locate your Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) to identify the required notice period before non-renewal (typically 30–90 days before contract end date). Missing this window may result in automatic renewal.
Contact your Customer Success Manager
Reach out directly to your assigned Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Account Executive to express intent to cancel. They were assigned during onboarding. If you don't have their contact, use the support portal at support.keyfactor.com or call +1.216.785.2946 (North America) or +46.8.735.61.00 (Europe).
Submit written non-renewal notice
Send a formal written notice of non-renewal via email to your CSM and/or [email protected]. Reference your contract number and state the intended cancellation date. Written notice is typically required by enterprise MSAs to make the cancellation binding.
Complete offboarding and data migration
Plan certificate migration well in advance of your contract end date — Keyfactor manages PKI/CA infrastructure, so access termination without migration can cause certificate chain failures. Work with your CSM to export certificate data and migrate to another CA or CLM solution.
Request data deletion
Submit a formal data deletion request to Keyfactor's Data Protection Officer at [email protected] or by mail to: Keyfactor, Inc., Attn: Data Protection Officer, 6150 Oak Tree Boulevard, Suite 200, Independence, OH 44131. Data is not automatically deleted on contract end.
Confirm cancellation in writing
Obtain written confirmation from Keyfactor acknowledging your cancellation and the official access termination date. Keep this for your records to avoid disputed renewal charges.
