No. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account downgrades to the free Starter tier (up to 5 users) — it is not deleted.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Twingate's policy states that fees paid are non-refundable and payment obligations are non-cancelable. There is no prorated refund for unused time, including annual plans. The only exception is if Twingate commits a material breach.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. Log back into the Admin Console at manage.twingate.com, go to Settings > Billing > Manage Plan, and select a paid plan to reactivate at any time.

Do I need to give 30 days' notice to cancel?

Twingate's Customer Agreement technically requires written notice 30 days before your renewal date to prevent auto-renewal. However, using the self-serve downgrade in the Admin Console accomplishes the same result immediately without needing to email.

What happens to my configurations and data after cancelling?

Your account persists at the Starter tier level. However, configurations set up under paid plan features may not be accessible or recoverable after downgrade. Export or document any important settings before cancelling.

What if I prefer to cancel by email?
