Will I lose access immediately after canceling?

No. Your access continues until the end of your current subscription period (your churn date). Deactivation only takes effect when the billing period expires.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

No. Vitally's SaaS Agreement explicitly states all payments are non-refundable. You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your current subscription period. The only exception is if Vitally itself terminates the contract, in which case you receive a prorated refund.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

You retain full access until your churn date. After that, Vitally cannot access or export your data on your behalf. All data is permanently deleted 90 days after the churn date. Contact support@vitally.io if you need a modified retention timeline.

Can I reactivate my account after canceling?

Yes. You can reactivate at any point before the deactivation date takes effect. After that point, you would need to contact Vitally sales to set up a new contract.

What if the 'Deactivate Vitally' button is blocked?

The system will block deactivation if any playbook actions reference your account's email address to initiate conversations. Check your playbooks, remove the email reference from all affected steps, then retry deactivation.

Can I cancel by email instead of through the app?

Yes. You can email support@vitally.io to request account cancellation as an alternative to using the in-app 'Deactivate Vitally' button.

Log in to Vitally

Go to https://[yoursubdomain].vitally.io and log in with your admin credentials. Only account admins can deactivate the entire Vitally account.

Open Account Settings

Click your Account Logo in the top-left corner of the dashboard, then click the Settings (gear icon) from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Account & Billing

In the Settings panel, find and click on the 'Account & Billing' section in the left navigation.

Click 'Deactivate Vitally'

Scroll to the bottom-right of the Account & Billing page and click the 'Deactivate Vitally' button.

Confirm deactivation

Confirm the deactivation in the confirmation dialog. If a warning appears about playbook actions referencing your email, you must first remove that email from all affected playbooks before deactivation can proceed.

Export your data before churn date

Before your subscription period ends, go to any object type (Accounts, Conversations, Notes, Tasks), create a View, then click the export button in the top-right to download your data as CSV. After the churn date Vitally cannot export data on your behalf.
