Check your contract type and terms
Log in to Můj Vodafone at muj.vodafone.cz or call *77 (free from Vodafone mobile) to confirm your contract type, remaining months, and any early termination fees. This determines which cancellation method applies to you.
Download the termination form
Go to vodafone.cz/o-vodafonu/ke-stazeni/formulare/ and download the form titled 'Žádost o předčasné ukončení poskytování zvýhodněných podmínek a výpověď smlouvy' (PDF). Note: Vodafone explicitly states the form cannot be submitted electronically — it must be printed and mailed.
Fill in and sign the form
Complete all fields: full name, phone number, reason for cancellation, current address, and date. Sign the form by hand. Incorrect or incomplete forms will be rejected, restarting the process.
Send via registered mail
Post the signed form via registered mail ('doporučená zásilka') with delivery confirmation to: Vodafone Czech Republic a.s., náměstí Junkových 2, 155 00 Praha 5. Keep your postal receipt as proof.
Receive SMS confirmation
Vodafone sends an SMS confirming receipt of your cancellation. The 30-day notice period starts from the date Vodafone's HQ receives the letter — not the date you mailed it.
Handle retention calls
During the notice period, Vodafone will proactively call you with retention offers — discounted tariffs, GIGA Kombo bundles, or unlisted 'podpultové' deals. You are not obligated to accept any offer. Decline clearly and ask for written confirmation that your cancellation remains active.
Pay any early termination fee
If canceling before the contract end date, pay the prorated early termination fee (based on the device subsidy you received). Expect a final 'vyrovnání' (settlement bill). Keep proof of payment.
Return leased device (if applicable)
If you received a leased or subsidized device, return it within 14 days after service termination. Contact Vodafone in advance via *77 to arrange the return logistics.
