Cancel add-on services first

Before canceling your line, cancel all active value-added services. Dial *155# from your Vodafone Egypt number — this NTRA-mandated USSD code shows all active subscriptions. Select each subscription and confirm cancellation. You will receive an SMS confirmation per service. Alternatively, dial *71*0# then press 1 to cancel all entertainment subscriptions at once, or *2000*0# for internet/data packages.

Settle all financial obligations

For postpaid lines, you must clear all prerequisites before the branch will process your cancellation: pay any outstanding balance, fully pay off any device installment plan, ensure no active time-limited promotional offers are on the line, and settle any DSL service linked to the number.

Close your Vodafone Cash wallet (if applicable)

If you have a Vodafone Cash mobile wallet linked to the number, withdraw your full balance first, then visit a Vodafone branch to close/delete the wallet. The wallet must be closed before line cancellation can proceed.

Locate your nearest Vodafone Egypt branch

Full line cancellation (deactivation) is in-store only — it cannot be done online, via the app, or by calling 888. Go to https://web.vodafone.com.eg/en/stores to find the nearest branch. Bring your valid Egyptian national ID (required for identity verification).

Request line deactivation at the branch

At the branch, tell the agent you want to deactivate/cancel your line. Show your national ID. The agent will verify all prerequisites are cleared (balance, installments, promotions, DSL, Vodafone Cash). You will then be asked to sign a cancellation/deactivation form.

Sign the cancellation form and confirm

Review and sign the deactivation form. Keep a copy for your records. The agent will submit the termination request. Ask the agent about any remaining prepaid credit — there is no publicly documented refund policy, so confirm at the counter whether unused credit will be returned.
