Will I still have access to my account after cancelling?

Yes. You retain full access to all features until your original renewal date — the date your account would have next renewed. For example, if you cancel 10 days before your renewal date, you still have 10 days of access remaining.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Benchmark Email does not issue refunds or prorate unused time. You will not be charged again after cancelling (as long as you cancel before your renewal date), but no credit is given for the remaining days in your current billing period.

How long is my data kept after cancellation?

Benchmark retains your account data for 30 days after the cancellation date. After 30 days, all data — contacts, reports, campaigns, images — is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Export your contact lists and download email reports before the 30-day window closes.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Yes, you can reactivate within 30 days of cancellation. After 30 days, the account and all data are permanently deleted and reactivation is no longer possible. Contact support@benchmarkemail.com if you need help reactivating.

I pay via PayPal — do I need to do anything extra?

Yes. Cancelling your Benchmark Email account does NOT automatically cancel your PayPal automatic payment. You must separately log in to your PayPal account and cancel the automatic payment to Benchmark to avoid future charges.

What happens to my signup forms, automations, and landing pages after cancellation?

Once the cancellation date is reached, signup forms become inaccessible, all automations stop running, and active landing pages are deactivated. Image Gallery and Document Gallery content is also deleted. Plan ahead and migrate any active assets before your account ends.

Log in to Benchmark Email

Go to benchmarkemail.com and sign in to your account with your email and password.

Open Account Settings

Click your account name or avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard, then select 'Account Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Go to Plan Information

Inside Account Settings, click on 'Plan Information' in the left-hand navigation or main settings area.

Click Cancel Account

Locate the 'Account Status' section on the Plan Information page and click the 'Cancel Account' option.

Confirm cancellation

On the confirmation screen, click 'Continue Cancellation' to proceed past the confirmation prompt.

Complete the cancellation survey

Fill out the required cancellation survey explaining why you are leaving (mandatory step before the process completes).

Submit final cancellation

Click 'Finish Cancellation' to complete the process. You will receive a confirmation message on screen and a confirmation email with your cancellation date.
