Updated: April 2026
Confirm Lighthouse CI is free/open-source
Google's Lighthouse CI (github.com/GoogleChrome/lighthouse-ci) is an open-source, Apache-2.0 licensed tool with no subscription or billing model. There is no account to cancel — the tool is free to use and self-hosted.
Stop running Lighthouse CI in your pipeline
Remove or disable the Lighthouse CI step from your CI configuration file (e.g., GitHub Actions workflow .yml, CircleCI config, etc.). Delete or comment out the 'lhci' job or step.
Remove the LHCI server (if self-hosted)
If you deployed the optional Lighthouse CI server for storing results, shut it down and remove its database. The server is self-managed — there is no cloud service or vendor to notify.
Uninstall npm packages
Run 'npm uninstall @lhci/cli' and/or 'npm uninstall @lhci/server' in your project to remove Lighthouse CI dependencies. Remove any .lighthouserc.js or lighthouserc.json configuration files.
