Sign in as admin on desktop

Open a web browser on your computer (cancellation is not available on the mobile app). Go to quickbooks.intuit.com and sign in as the Primary Admin or Company Admin of the account.

Open Settings

Click the gear icon (⚙) in the top-right corner of the QuickBooks Online dashboard to open the Settings menu.

Go to Account and Settings

Select 'Account and Settings' from the Settings dropdown menu.

Navigate to Billing & Subscription

In the left-hand navigation panel, click 'Billing & Subscription' (also referred to as 'Subscriptions and billing' in some account versions).

Click Cancel Subscription

In the QuickBooks section, click the 'Cancel subscription' or 'Cancel online' link on the right-hand side of the page.

Decline retention offers

QuickBooks will display a cancellation flow asking why you are leaving and offering discounts (typically 50% off for 3 months or a free month) to convince you to stay. Click through each screen by selecting your reason and declining the offer using the 'No thanks, continue canceling' or similar button.

Confirm cancellation

On the final confirmation screen, click the 'Confirm Cancellation' button to complete the process. You will receive a cancellation confirmation email from Intuit.
