Updated: April 2026
Note: AnkiWeb is free
AnkiWeb (ankiweb.net) is a free sync service with no paid subscription. The only official paid Anki product is AnkiMobile for iOS ($24.99 one-time purchase, not a subscription). If you have a recurring charge, it is likely from AnkiHub (a third-party deck service) or AnkiPro (an unofficial imitation app unrelated to Anki).
Log in to AnkiWeb
Go to https://ankiweb.net and sign in with your email and password.
Export or sync your data
Before deleting your account, open the Anki desktop app and use File > Export to save a backup of your decks (.apkg or .colpkg). Your locally stored cards will remain on your device even after account deletion.
Open Settings
Click the 'Settings' link in the upper-right corner of the AnkiWeb dashboard.
Click 'delete account'
Scroll down to find the 'delete account' link located just below the settings header. Click it.
Confirm account deletion
A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm the deletion to permanently remove your AnkiWeb account and all synced data from the server.
