Sign in to MyDStv
Go to www.dstv.com and click 'Sign In' in the top-right corner. Enter your registered email address and password to access your account dashboard.
Open My Account
Once logged in, click on 'My Account' in the navigation menu or your profile icon to access your account management area.
Navigate to My Products
Inside My Account, click on 'My Products'. You will see your active products listed by category: Subscription, Hardware, Internet, Insurance, and Safety.
Select your Subscription
Under the 'Subscription' category, click on your active package (e.g. DStv Premium, Compact, Access). This opens the package management screen.
Click Manage Package
Click the 'Manage Package' button. Note: DStv will typically show a 'Downgrade Package' option prominently here — ignore it and continue looking for the disconnect/cancel option.
Select Disconnect
Click the 'Disconnect' button (DStv uses 'Disconnect' rather than 'Cancel'). If this button is greyed out, you likely have an outstanding balance — clear it first, then return to this step.
Choose disconnection date and confirm
Select your disconnection date (typically end of current billing period). Review the summary and click 'Confirm' to finalise the cancellation. Screenshot or save the confirmation reference number shown on screen.
