Log in to the ADT+ portal
Go to plus.adt.com and sign in with your ADT Self Setup account credentials (email and password). If you set up your account via the ADT+ app, you can also use the same credentials on the web portal.
Navigate to Billing
Once logged in, click on 'Billing' in the left-hand navigation menu or account dashboard.
Open Manage Subscriptions
Under the Billing section, click 'Manage Subscriptions' to view your active ADT Self Setup monitoring plan.
Click 'Cancel Subscription'
Find your active monitoring plan and select 'Cancel Subscription'. If no cancellation form appears, your account may require phone cancellation — call ADT Self Setup support at 800-238-2727.
Complete the cancellation form
Fill out the cancellation form with the requested details (reason for cancelling, confirmation of account). Submit the form to process the cancellation.
Confirm cancellation and arrange equipment return (if within 30 days)
You will receive a confirmation email. If you are within 30 days of purchase and want a refund, ADT must physically receive the equipment back within 60 days of your original purchase date. Contact support to request a prepaid return shipping label.
