Will I get a refund when I cancel?

No. Supabase does not issue refunds to your payment method. Any unused prepaid time is converted into account credits that apply automatically to future invoices. Credits do not expire.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

Your projects continue as Free tier projects — data is not immediately deleted. However, Free tier projects are automatically paused after 7 days of inactivity. Paused projects can be restored with one click for up to 90 days from the pause date. After 90 days without restoration, data becomes unrecoverable through the dashboard.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. Return to your organization's Billing page at any time and select a paid plan to reactivate. If your project was paused and you are still within the 90-day window, it can be restored immediately after upgrading.

Will my projects be deleted when I cancel?

No, not automatically. Projects are only deleted if you explicitly choose to delete them via Project Settings → General → Delete Project (requires typing the project name to confirm). Inactive projects may be paused, but are recoverable for 90 days.

Can I pause a project instead of fully cancelling?

Yes. Go to Project Settings → General and click "Pause Project" to stop compute billing for a specific project without downgrading your organization subscription. This keeps your data intact and avoids inactivity-triggered pausing.

What if I subscribed through GitHub or AWS Marketplace?

GitHub Marketplace subscribers must cancel via GitHub Settings → Billing and plans → Plans and usage → Supabase → Cancel plan. AWS Marketplace subscribers must open a support ticket within 48 hours of purchase; cancellation is not possible through that channel after the 48-hour window.
