1

Review your contract notice requirement

Swept requires 30 days written notice to cancel per their Terms of Service (Section 15). Plan your cancellation date accordingly — you will continue to be billed during this notice period. Billing runs monthly on the 1st of each month.

2

Export your data before cancelling

Before initiating cancellation, log in to your Swept account at app.sweptworks.com and export any data you need (scheduling history, time tracking records, inspection reports). Swept does not publish a specific post-cancellation data retention window, so export everything beforehand.

3

Send written cancellation notice to support

Email support@sweptworks.com with a written cancellation request. Include your account name, the email address on the account, and the date you want cancellation to take effect (at least 30 days from today). Subject line: 'Cancellation Request – [Your Company Name]'.

4

Alternatively, cancel through the web app

Swept's Terms state you may also cancel 'through the Service.' Log in at app.sweptworks.com, navigate to your account or billing settings, and look for a cancellation or plan management option. If no self-service option is visible, proceed with the email method.

5

Confirm receipt of your cancellation

Wait for a confirmation reply from Swept support acknowledging your cancellation request and the effective termination date. If you do not receive confirmation within 2–3 business days, follow up by phone at 1-855-710-2079 (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM EST).
