1

Log in to Stripe Dashboard

Go to dashboard.stripe.com and sign in with the account credentials associated with your Stripe Atlas subscription.

2

Open Settings

Click the gear icon (⚙) in the top-right corner of the Dashboard to open the Settings page.

3

Locate Atlas settings

In the Settings menu, scroll to find the 'Atlas' section under product or account settings. Review your active Atlas services, including the Registered Agent subscription and any annual fees.

4

Cancel the Registered Agent subscription

To stop the annual Registered Agent renewal (charged ~$100/year), send an email to atlas@stripe.com requesting cancellation. You must provide at least 30 days advance notice before your renewal date. Include your company name and Stripe account ID in the email.

5

Close your Stripe Atlas account (optional)

If you also want to close your Stripe payments account, go to Settings > Business > Account details, scroll to the bottom, and click 'Close account'. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email to confirm.

6

Confirm cancellation via email

Wait for a confirmation reply from Stripe Atlas support (atlas@stripe.com). Keep this email as proof that you provided timely notice before your renewal date.

7

Appoint a new registered agent if required

To stay compliant with Delaware state law, you must appoint a replacement registered agent and file the appropriate Change of Agent paperwork with the Delaware Division of Corporations before your cancellation takes effect.
