Identify your billing source
Check how you subscribed before starting. Open the Tinder app, tap your profile icon → Settings → Manage Payment Account. Your order number tells you where to cancel: starts with 'MK' = Apple/iOS App Store; starts with 'GPA' = Google Play Store; no prefix or a Tinder receipt email = Tinder.com direct billing. You must cancel through the original billing source — cancelling in one place does not affect the others.
Cancel via iOS (Apple App Store)
Open the iPhone/iPad Settings app (not the Tinder app). Tap your name at the top → tap 'Subscriptions'. Find 'Tinder' in the active subscriptions list and tap it. Tap 'Cancel Subscription', then tap 'Confirm'. You will see a confirmation that the subscription ends at the current billing period end date.
Cancel via Android (Google Play Store)
Open the Google Play Store app. Tap your profile icon (top right) → tap 'Payments & subscriptions' → tap 'Subscriptions'. Find Tinder in the list and tap it. Tap 'Cancel subscription', select a cancellation reason, then tap 'Continue' and confirm by tapping 'Cancel subscription' again.
Cancel via Tinder.com (web/direct billing)
Go to tinder.com and log in. Click your profile icon in the top-left corner. Click 'Settings', then scroll down to find 'Manage Payment Account' or 'Subscription'. Click 'Cancel Subscription' or toggle off 'Auto-Renew'. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.
Confirm cancellation
After cancelling, you should receive a confirmation email from Tinder or your app store. Your premium features (Gold, Platinum, or Plus) remain active until the end of the current paid billing period — you are not cut off immediately. Save the confirmation email as proof.
