What happens to my phone number when I cancel?

If you delete the number, it is permanently lost and cannot be recovered by Talkmore or any other Norwegian operator. If you are switching to another provider, you can transfer (port) your number — in that case no separate cancellation is needed, as the subscription terminates automatically on the transfer date.

When does billing stop after cancellation?

You are charged through the end of the calendar month from the date you cancel or port your number. Talkmore does not pro-rate — a full month's fee applies regardless of which day in the month you cancel.

Is there a cancellation fee or binding period?

No. Talkmore has no binding period on any of its mobile subscriptions, and there is no cancellation fee. You can cancel at any time without penalty.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

You can sign up again as a new customer, but your old phone number cannot be restored once deleted. If you think you may want to keep the number, port it to another operator instead of deleting it.

Can I also cancel by phone?

Talkmore requires written cancellation for deleting a number, so a phone call alone is not sufficient. You must submit a request via the contact form at talkmore.no/kontakt/kontakt-oss-kontaktskjema or through their live chat. Phone support is available at 915 09 915 (Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00, Sat 10:00–14:00) for questions.

What if I am switching to another operator and want to keep my number?

Simply sign up with the new operator and request a number transfer (nummerportabilitet). Talkmore will automatically terminate your subscription on the day the number is transferred. No separate cancellation request to Talkmore is needed.

Visit talkmore.no and click 'Min Side' in the top navigation to log in and confirm your subscription details (phone number, SIM card number) before submitting a cancellation request.

Go directly to talkmore.no/kontakt/kontakt-oss-kontaktskjema. This is Talkmore's official written contact form — written cancellation is required for deleting your number.

Select 'Oppsigelse' from the topic dropdown

In the 'Hva kan vi hjelpe deg med?' (What can we help you with?) dropdown menu, select 'Oppsigelse' (Cancellation).

Fill in your details

Enter your mobile number (8 digits), full name, email address, and contact number. In the 'Beskriv din henvendelse' (Describe your enquiry) text field, state that you want to cancel your subscription and include your desired end date.

Submit the form

Click the submit button to send your cancellation request. Alternatively, use the live chat ('Chat med oss her') available on talkmore.no/privat/kundesenter (Mon–Fri 08:00–16:00, Sat 10:00–13:30) and ask to cancel.

Await confirmation

Talkmore will confirm your cancellation in writing. You will be billed through the end of the current month from the date your number is deleted or transferred.
