Will I lose access immediately after canceling?

No. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access to all features of your cancelled plan until the end of your current billing period.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Abstract does not publicly document a refund policy. Charges for the current billing cycle are generally non-refundable. Contact support at help.abstract.com for refund requests.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. You can reactivate by returning to Organization Settings → Billing and selecting a plan to resubscribe.

What happens to my files and data after I cancel?

Abstract recommends exporting your files before canceling. After your plan expires, access to files may be restricted depending on your downgrade tier. Export Sketch files via the app before your billing period ends.

How do Enterprise customers cancel?

Enterprise plan customers cannot cancel through self-service billing settings. They must contact the Abstract Enterprise sales team directly to cancel their subscription.

Can I downgrade instead of canceling entirely?

Yes. The same Billing tab in Organization Settings allows you to change your plan to a lower tier (e.g., from Pro to Free) instead of canceling outright. The Notebooks Free plan is available at no cost.

Log in to Abstract

Go to app.abstract.com and sign in to your account with your email and password.

Open Organization menu

In the left-hand sidebar, click on your organization name to open a dropdown menu.

Go to Organization Settings

From the dropdown menu, select 'Organization Settings'.

Open the Billing tab

Inside Organization Settings, click the 'Billing' tab at the top of the settings page.

Export your files (recommended)

Before canceling, Abstract recommends exporting your files. Download any Sketch files or assets you need to retain access to after cancellation.

Click Cancel Subscription

Scroll to the bottom of the Billing tab and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm your decision in the confirmation dialog that appears. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
