Log in to Cloudflare Dashboard
Go to https://dash.cloudflare.com and sign in. You must be a Super Administrator on the account — regular members cannot cancel or change plans.
Navigate to Billing
In the left sidebar, click 'Manage Account', then click 'Billing', then click the 'Subscriptions' tab.
Choose your cancellation path
For a domain plan (Pro/Business → Free): click on your domain first, go to the domain Overview page, find the 'Plan' section, and click 'Change'. For an add-on subscription (Workers, Images, Stream, etc.): locate it under Active Subscriptions on the Billing > Subscriptions page.
Select Free plan or click Cancel
For domain plan downgrade: select 'Free' from the list of available plans and click 'Continue'. For an add-on: first disable the feature itself (toggle or button specific to that product), then return to Billing > Subscriptions and click 'Cancel' in the Action column next to the subscription.
Complete the feedback form
A mandatory feedback prompt appears asking why you are canceling. Select all applicable reasons — you must interact with this form before the Confirm button becomes accessible.
Click Confirm
Click the 'Confirm' button to finalize the cancellation. The subscription status will change to 'ENDING ON [date]' — service continues until the end of the current billing period.
Check for unexpected new subscriptions
After downgrading, return to Billing > Subscriptions and verify no new paid subscription was added automatically (historically, Page Rules at $20/month was auto-added on downgrade). If you see an unexpected entry, click 'Cancel' on it immediately.
