Yes. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, access is revoked and you will no longer be billed.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Motion's policy states that all purchases are non-refundable. Refunds may be issued at Motion's sole discretion — you can contact support@usemotion.com to request one, but it is not guaranteed.

How do I reactivate my subscription?

Log back in to app.usemotion.com with your original email address and click 'Subscribe'. Reactivating with the same email restores access to your prior data.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your tasks, projects, and settings remain associated with your account and are accessible if you resubscribe with the same email. Creating a new account with a different email starts fresh with no prior data.

Can I cancel if I subscribed through the Apple App Store?

Yes, but you must cancel through Apple, not through the Motion website. Go to iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Motion → Cancel Subscription.

Go to app.usemotion.com on a desktop or laptop browser and sign in to your account.

Open Settings

Click the gear (⚙️) icon in the top-left corner of the app to open Settings.

Click 'Manage Plan'

In the Settings menu, click 'Manage Plan' to open your subscription details.

Select 'Cancel Plan'

Click the 'Cancel Plan' button on the plan management page.

Click 'Continue'

A confirmation prompt appears. Click 'Continue' to proceed past the first confirmation screen.

Enter cancellation reason

Select or type a cancellation reason in the provided field, then click 'Continue'.

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Cancel Subscription' to finalize. You will receive a confirmation email from Motion Support.
