Do I still have access after cancelling?

Yes. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, the account reverts to the free Personal plan (up to 10 devices, 1 network).

Can I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

No. ZeroTier's Terms of Service explicitly state there are no refunds for unused subscription time or pre-payments made.

How far in advance do I need to cancel?

You must cancel at least 3 days before your next billing period starts to avoid being charged for the next cycle.

What happens to my networks after cancellation?

Your networks remain but are restricted to the free tier limits (10 devices, 1 network). If you exceed those limits, you may be blocked from the dashboard until you reduce your device count or re-subscribe.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time through Organization Settings → Billing in central.zerotier.com. Your existing networks and configurations are preserved on the free tier.

Can an admin cancel the subscription on my behalf?

No. Only the Organization Owner has access to billing settings. Administrators cannot cancel or modify the subscription.

Log in to ZeroTier Central

Go to https://central.zerotier.com and log in with your ZeroTier account credentials.

Open Organization Settings

Click your organization name or the settings icon in the top-right area of the dashboard to open Organization Settings.

Navigate to Billing

In the Organization Settings panel, click the 'Billing' section to view your current subscription and payment details.

Click 'Manage your subscription'

Click the 'Manage your subscription' button. This redirects you to the Stripe billing portal where your ZeroTier subscription is managed.

Cancel the subscription in Stripe

In the Stripe billing portal, locate your active ZeroTier plan and click 'Cancel plan'. Follow the on-screen confirmation prompts to confirm cancellation.

Confirm the cancellation in Stripe when prompted. You will receive a confirmation email. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
