Updated: April 2026
Log in to Airtable
Go to airtable.com and sign in with the account that owns the paid workspace you want to cancel.
Open Account Settings
Click your profile avatar or initials in the top-right corner of the dashboard, then select 'Account' from the dropdown menu.
Go to Billing
In Account Settings, click the 'Billing' tab in the left sidebar. Note: only the workspace Owner can access billing. For Business plan workspaces, navigate instead to airtable.com/admin → Settings → Billing.
Select the workspace to cancel
If you have multiple workspaces, identify the paid workspace you want to cancel. Each workspace is billed separately and must be downgraded individually.
Click 'Change plan'
Find your current plan (Team or Business) and click the 'Change plan' button next to it.
Choose the Free plan
On the plan selection screen, select 'Free' (the $0/month option) and click 'Downgrade to Free' or 'Select Free plan' to confirm your choice.
Confirm the downgrade
A confirmation dialog will appear summarizing what you will lose (e.g., automation run limits, extension access, record limits). Click 'Confirm downgrade' to finalize. The plan change takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Check your email for confirmation
Airtable sends a confirmation email to the account owner. Save this as proof of cancellation for your records.
