1

Review your contract terms

Chronosphere is an enterprise platform sold on annual or multi-year contracts (now part of Palo Alto Networks). Before initiating cancellation, review your Master Service Agreement (MSA) or Order Form for the required notice period — typically 30–90 days before renewal. Missing this window may auto-renew your contract.

2

Contact your Account Executive or Customer Success Manager

Reach out directly to your assigned Chronosphere Account Executive (AE) or Customer Success Architect (CSA). These contacts are your primary channel for contract termination. If you don't have their details, use the company phone +1 (201) 416-9526 or the contact form at chronosphere.io/contact to be routed to the right person.

3

Submit a cancellation request via Support Portal

Log in to the support portal at support.chronosphere.io using your Chronosphere platform credentials or SSO provider. Click 'Submit a request', select ticket type, and clearly state you are requesting contract termination or non-renewal. Alternatively, email support@chronosphere.io with the subject 'Contract Termination Request' and include your account name and contract details.

4

Receive confirmation and termination timeline

A Chronosphere support or account team member will respond to your ticket (visible under 'My activities' in the portal). They will confirm receipt, reference your contract terms, and outline the offboarding timeline and any data export windows before service ends.

5

Export your data before termination date

During the offboarding period, export any metrics, dashboards, alert configurations, or other data you need to retain. Use the Chronosphere platform's built-in export features or work with the support team to retrieve data via API before the service is decommissioned.

6

Confirm written termination

Ensure you receive written confirmation of cancellation from the Chronosphere/Palo Alto Networks account team. Keep this for your records. Confirm the exact end date of service access and that no future invoices will be issued.
