1

Log in to DocuSign

Go to docusign.com and click 'Log In' in the top-right corner. Enter your email and password to access your account.

2

Open the Admin panel

Click your profile avatar or initials in the top-right corner of the dashboard, then select 'Go to Admin' from the dropdown menu. You must be an Account Administrator to cancel.

3

Navigate to Plan and Billing

In the left-hand navigation sidebar, under the 'Account' section, click 'Plan and Billing'. This opens your current subscription details.

4

Download your documents (recommended)

Before proceeding, download any important signed envelopes and documents from your account. After cancellation you have a grace period (typically 90 days) but it is safest to export first.

5

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Scroll to the bottom of the Plan and Billing page and click the 'Cancel Subscription' or 'Cancel Plan' link/button. On some account types this may be labeled 'Close Account'.

6

Select a cancellation reason

DocuSign presents a required or optional dropdown asking why you are canceling (e.g., 'Too expensive', 'Not using it enough', 'Found a better solution'). Select a reason and click 'Continue'.

7

Review and confirm cancellation

A summary screen shows what you will lose (remaining envelope sends, templates, integrations). Click 'Confirm Cancellation' or 'Yes, Cancel My Plan' to finalize. Do not close the browser until the confirmation message appears.

8

Check for confirmation email

DocuSign sends a cancellation confirmation email to the account's primary email address. Save this email as proof of cancellation and to confirm no future charges will occur.
