Open the Abode App

Launch the Abode app on your iOS or Android device. Note: if your subscription was purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through those platforms instead (see FAQ below).

Tap the Menu icon

Tap the Menu (≡) icon in the top-left corner of the app to open the side navigation.

Open your Profile

Tap your name or profile section at the top of the menu to open your account profile.

Tap 'Plan Details'

In your profile, tap 'Plan Details' to view your current subscription and available plan options.

Select the free 'No Plan' tier

On the Plan Details screen, select the free 'No Plan' option to downgrade and cancel your paid monitoring subscription. Confirm the change when prompted.

Confirm cancellation

Review the confirmation screen showing what features you will lose (professional monitoring, cloud video recording, advanced automations). Confirm to complete the cancellation. Your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing period.
