1

Remove excess users (if on paid seats)

If your account has more than 50 active users, you must reduce the seat count before downgrading. Go to https://dash.cloudflare.com/, navigate to your Zero Trust account, then go to Settings > Cloudflare One plan (or Team & Resources > Users > Your users), select users, and choose Action > Remove users until you are within Free plan limits.

2

Open Billing in the Cloudflare dashboard

Go to https://dash.cloudflare.com/ and click your account name in the top navigation. Select Manage Account, then click Billing in the left sidebar.

3

Open Subscriptions

In the Billing section, click the Subscriptions tab to see a list of all active paid subscriptions including your Zero Trust plan.

4

Cancel or downgrade the Zero Trust subscription

Find the Zero Trust (Cloudflare One) subscription in the list. Either click Change and select the Free plan to downgrade, or click Cancel next to the subscription to cancel it entirely. Choosing Free is the most common path and stops all charges while preserving your configurations.

5

Complete the feedback form and confirm

A cancellation feedback form will appear. Select a reason for cancelling. Then click the Confirm button to finalize. Note: if the Confirm button remains greyed out and unclickable (a known dashboard bug), you must contact Cloudflare support via the Billing & Subscriptions category to complete cancellation.

6

Verify cancellation

Return to Billing > Subscriptions and confirm the Zero Trust subscription shows as cancelled or downgraded to Free. The paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. To undo a pending cancellation before it takes effect, click Cancel Downgrade next to the product.
