Can I still access my service after requesting cancellation?

Yes. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period. Your service remains fully active until that date. After the subscription ends, all data is permanently deleted with no possibility of recovery.

Will I get a refund for unused time?

Generally no. OVHcloud does not issue refunds for the remaining portion of a billing period after cancellation. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle. Some services like MX Plan explicitly state no refunds apply.

Can I undo or reverse a cancellation?

Yes, but only up to 24 hours before the subscription end date. In your 'My solutions & services' section, find the service showing 'Cancellation scheduled' status and use the option to revoke the cancellation request.

Can I cancel multiple services at once?

No. Each OVHcloud service must be cancelled individually. There is no bulk cancellation option and OVHcloud support cannot process a global cancellation on your behalf.

How do I delete my OVHcloud account entirely?

Account closure is only possible after all services have been terminated and fully deleted, and there are no outstanding invoices or pending orders. Once those conditions are met, you can request account and personal data deletion through the Control Panel settings.

What happens to domain names when I cancel?

Domain names have a different process. Upon cancellation, generic domains typically enter a ~7-day grace period followed by a 35–40 day redemption period during which only you can renew them. After that window expires, the domain becomes available for public registration again.

Log in to OVHcloud Control Panel

Go to https://www.ovh.com/manager/ and sign in with your OVHcloud credentials (NIC handle/email and password).

Open 'My solutions & services'

Click your account name or NIC handle in the top-right corner of the Control Panel, then select 'My solutions & services' from the dropdown menu.

Locate the service to cancel

Find the specific service you want to cancel in the list. Note: you must cancel each service individually — there is no bulk cancellation option.

Open service options

Click the '...' (three-dot ellipsis) button to the right of the service you want to cancel.

Select 'Cancel my subscription'

From the dropdown menu that appears, click 'Cancel my subscription'.

Provide cancellation reason

A cancellation form will appear. Select a reason for termination from the provided options and optionally add comments, then proceed.

Confirm cancellation

Click the 'Confirm' button to finalize the cancellation request. The service status in your dashboard will update to 'Cancellation scheduled'. Refresh the page if the status does not update immediately.
