Log in to ReadMe
Go to readme.com and log in with your account credentials. You must be logged in as the Project Owner — only the owner can cancel a subscription.
Open Project Settings
From your project dashboard, click the gear icon or navigate to 'Project Settings' for the project whose subscription you want to cancel.
Go to General Settings
Inside Project Settings, click on 'General Settings' in the left navigation menu.
Scroll to Project Management
Scroll to the bottom of the General Settings page to find the 'Project Management' section.
Click 'Cancel Subscription'
Click the 'Cancel Subscription' button. This immediately stops billing and reverts your project to the free tier. Your project data is preserved. Alternatively, click the red 'Delete Project' button if you want to permanently delete the project and all its data.
