Will my published pages break after I uninstall Shogun?

No. All pages you published through Shogun remain live on your store as static HTML after uninstalling. However, if you edit those pages in Shopify's native editor, the Shogun CSS styling may be stripped — you would need to reinstall Shogun and republish to restore the original design.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Shogun's Terms of Service state that all fees paid are non-refundable and no refund is given upon account termination. Billing is non-pro-ratable, so you will not receive credit for unused days in a billing period.

Can I reactivate my Shogun account after cancelling?

Yes — simply reinstall the Shogun app from the Shopify App Store. If you reinstall within 14 days of uninstalling (before the GDPR redaction deadline), all your pages, analytics, settings, and collaborator data will be fully restored. After 14 days, analytics, audit logs, and form submission data are permanently deleted, though your published pages and Shopify product data will resync automatically.

What data is deleted after I cancel?

Shogun sends a redaction date email when you uninstall. After 14 days, the following are permanently deleted: analytics data, audit logs, collaborator access, Instagram integration data, and form submission data. Your published page HTML remains on your Shopify store and your Shopify product/collection data is unaffected.

Is there a way to pause my subscription instead of cancelling?

No. Shogun does not offer a subscription pause option. Your alternatives are to downgrade to a lower-cost plan (Build at $39/mo) via Shogun Settings → Plans → Downgrade, or to fully cancel by uninstalling the app.

What happens to my annual plan if I cancel early?

If you are on an annual plan and uninstall early, billing stops immediately but no refund is issued for the remaining prepaid months. Annual plans offer 20% off but there is no early termination fee — you simply forfeit the unused portion of the prepaid term.

Open Shopify Admin Settings

Go to Apps and Sales Channels

In the Settings menu, click 'Apps and sales channels' to see all installed apps on your store.

Locate Shogun

Find 'Shogun Page Builder' in the list of installed apps. Click on its name or the three-dot menu (⋮) next to it.

Click Uninstall

Click the 'Uninstall' option. Shopify may show a dropdown asking for your reason for uninstalling — this is Shopify's standard exit survey, not a Shogun retention screen. Select a reason if desired.

Confirm Uninstall

Click 'Uninstall' in the confirmation dialog to finalize. Your Shogun subscription billing stops immediately upon uninstall. You will receive a redaction date email from Shogun confirming data retention details.
