Will my classes and instructor content be removed after I cancel?

No. Cancelling your Skillshare membership does not delete your published classes, followers, or earnings data. Your content remains live on the platform. Only a full account deletion would remove everything.

Can I still access Skillshare after cancelling?

Yes. Your premium membership remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to free status with access only to Skillshare's free classes.

Are refunds available after cancellation?

Generally no — Skillshare memberships are non-refundable and no pro-rated refunds are given. The exception is if you cancel within 48 hours of the first charge after a 7-day free trial. EU/UK customers may have additional rights under statutory cooling-off period laws. SEPA direct debit payments are refundable up to 8 weeks after initial payment.

What happens to my instructor earnings if I cancel?

If you cancel before your classes accumulate the 75-minute monthly watch threshold required for payment, you forfeit earnings for all minutes watched that month. Make sure to time your cancellation to avoid losing accrued earnings.

Yes. You can reactivate your premium membership at any time by returning to Account Settings > Membership & Payments and selecting a new plan. Your previous class content and account data will still be there.

What if I signed up through the iOS or Android app?

If you subscribed via Apple App Store, cancel through iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Skillshare > Cancel Subscription. For Google Play, go to the Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Skillshare > Cancel. Skillshare cannot cancel app store subscriptions on your behalf.

Log in to Skillshare

Go to skillshare.com and sign in to your instructor/teacher account.

Open Account Settings

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select 'Account settings' from the dropdown menu.

Go to Membership & Payments

In the left sidebar of Account Settings, click 'Membership & Payments'.

Click 'Cancel membership'

Scroll down and click the 'Cancel membership' button. A retention screen will appear attempting to persuade you to stay — click 'Continue Cancellation' at the bottom to proceed.

Dismiss second retention prompt

A second dialog may appear asking 'Need more time to decide?' — dismiss it and click 'Cancel Membership' to continue.

Select a cancellation reason

Choose your reason for cancelling from the provided options (required before proceeding).

Confirm cancellation

Click the final 'Cancel Membership' button to confirm. A confirmation screen will confirm your membership has been cancelled.
