Will I lose access to my expense history immediately after cancelling?

No. Your account stays active through the end of the current billing cycle. It is strongly recommended to export all data before closure, as historical data may become inaccessible afterward.

Are there any refunds if I cancel mid-cycle?

Monthly subscribers are not charged further but do not receive a prorated refund for the remaining billing period. Annual contract holders should review their contract terms, as early termination fees may apply.

I'm on an annual plan — can I cancel using the in-app button?

No. The in-app 'Cancel Subscription' button only applies to monthly (Basic) plans. Annual contract customers must contact Emburse Support at hi@emburse.com or call +1 877 EMBURSE to cancel and stop auto-renewal.

How do I export my data before cancelling?

Go to the Transactions sidebar and use the export button to download CSV or PDF reports. Exports are capped at 2,500 records per batch — use date filters to export larger datasets in segments.

What happens to my Emburse Cards when I cancel?

Corporate cards are not automatically closed. You must deactivate or close any virtual or physical Emburse Cards separately as part of the pre-cancellation checklist before closing the account.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Reactivation is possible by contacting Emburse Support at hi@emburse.com or +1 877 EMBURSE. Historical data availability after reactivation is not guaranteed, so export your data before cancelling.
