Will I lose my streak if I cancel?

Your streak is independent of your subscription status. You can maintain a streak on the free version of Duolingo. However, you will lose Streak Shields and other Super benefits that help protect your streak.

What do I lose when I cancel Super Duolingo?

You lose: unlimited hearts (limited to 5 on free), ad-free learning, Streak Shields, progress quizzes, and offline access. Your progress, XP, and league standings remain intact.

Can I cancel Super Duolingo from the website?

If you subscribed through duolingo.com directly, you can cancel at duolingo.com/settings/subscription. If you subscribed via App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through those platforms.

Cancel Method:App

Open the Duolingo app

Launch the Duolingo app on your iOS or Android device and make sure you are logged in.

Go to your profile

Tap the profile icon at the bottom of the screen, then tap the gear/settings icon in the top-right corner.

Manage subscription

Scroll down to find "Super Duolingo" or "Manage Subscription" and tap it. This will redirect you to your device's subscription management page (App Store or Google Play).

Cancel in App Store or Google Play

On iOS: tap your name → Subscriptions → Duolingo → Cancel. On Android: tap the profile icon in Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Duolingo → Cancel.
