Determine your account type
Identify whether you purchased through a reseller (e.g., IngramCloud) or directly with Entrust. Check your original purchase confirmation email. Public SSL/TLS certificate customers may now be under Sectigo (migration completed September 2025) — check https://www.sectigo.com/entrust-migration if applicable.
Log in to your portal
For reseller-managed accounts: log in to your Customer Control Panel (e.g., IngramCloud portal). For direct Entrust accounts: log in at https://www.entrust.com or your specific product portal (e.g., https://support.identity.entrust.com for Identity/IAM products).
Navigate to Subscriptions
In the Customer Control Panel, click 'Account' from the left-side menu, then click 'Subscriptions'. Select the specific Entrust subscription you wish to cancel.
Click 'Cancel Subscription'
On the subscription detail page, click the 'Cancel Subscription' button. Select a cancellation reason from the dropdown and click 'Proceed' to confirm.
Contact your reseller or account rep to finalize
For reseller accounts: contact your reseller to complete the process — the subscription status will change from 'Active' to 'Terminated'. For direct enterprise contracts: contact your Entrust account representative to submit the required written cancellation notice.
Submit 60-day written notice (enterprise contracts)
Enterprise/subscription agreements require written notice at least 60 days before the end of your current Offering Term. Send notice to your account manager or via the support portal at https://www.entrust.com/contact-support. Phone: 1-800-328-3996 (North America) or +1-952-988-2316.
Export data and back up certificates
Before cancellation takes effect, export any certificate records, keys, and audit logs you need to retain. Note that upon cancellation or refund, active certificates will be revoked and will immediately stop being trusted.
