1

Understand your Redash deployment type

Determine how you are running Redash. The official Redash hosted cloud service (app.redash.io) was permanently shut down on November 30, 2021 by Databricks. If you are self-hosting the open-source version, there is no subscription to cancel — simply shut down your instance. If you are using a third-party managed Redash provider (e.g., Elest.io, Railway, AWS Marketplace), proceed to cancel through that provider's dashboard.

2

For third-party managed providers: log in to your provider account

Navigate to your managed hosting provider's website (e.g., elest.io, railway.com, or your AWS/GCP Marketplace account). Log in with your credentials.

3

Navigate to Billing or Services settings

In your provider's dashboard, locate the 'Billing', 'Services', or 'Subscriptions' section. For Elest.io: go to 'My Services' → select your Redash instance → click 'Delete Service'. For Railway: go to your project → 'Settings' → 'Danger Zone' → 'Delete Project'. For AWS Marketplace: go to AWS Console → 'AWS Marketplace Subscriptions' → select Redash → 'Cancel Subscription'.

4

Confirm cancellation

Follow the provider-specific confirmation prompts. You may be asked to type the service name or confirm deletion. Click the final 'Confirm', 'Delete', or 'Cancel Subscription' button.

5

For legacy hosted Redash billing issues: contact support by email

If you have a billing dispute or unresolved charge from the original hosted Redash service (pre-November 2021), send an email to support@redash.io explaining your situation and requesting a resolution or refund. Include your account email and any billing reference numbers.

6

Verify cancellation confirmation

Check your email for a cancellation confirmation from your provider. Log out and verify you no longer have access to an active paid service. Monitor your payment method to confirm no further charges appear.
