Will I get a refund after canceling?

No. Mindbody does not issue refunds for partial billing periods. You will retain access until the end of your current paid billing cycle, but no pro-rated refund is provided.

How long do I keep access to my account after canceling?

You retain full access to your Mindbody account until your final billing date. After that, access is terminated. You can export your data (clients, sales, visits, memberships) from the Reports section at any time before the cutoff date.

Can I reactivate my account after canceling?

Yes, within 90 days of the cancellation date. After 90 days, reactivation may not be possible and your data may no longer be recoverable. Contact support to reactivate within the window.

What if Mindbody keeps charging me after I cancel?

Document everything — keep copies of your cancellation request with timestamps. If Mindbody continues billing after your confirmed cancellation date, dispute the charge with your bank or credit card issuer. Filing a complaint with the BBB (bbb.org) has been effective for other users in resolving ongoing billing disputes.

Is canceling autopay the same as canceling my subscription?

No. Canceling autopay (automatic payment) in the Mindbody platform is a separate action from canceling your subscription. You must explicitly cancel the subscription itself — disabling autopay alone will not end your account or stop future invoices from being issued.

Log in to your account

Go to mindbodyonline.com and log in with your business account credentials. Make sure you are logging into the business/owner account, not the consumer Mindbody app.

Open Account Settings

Click your account name or profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select 'Account Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Billing or Subscription

Inside Account Settings, locate the 'Billing' or 'Subscription' tab in the left-hand navigation panel.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Look for the 'Cancel Subscription' button or link at the bottom of the Billing page. Note: this option is only available to month-to-month customers. If you are on an annual or multi-year contract, this button may not appear — proceed to the phone step.

Submit written cancellation notice (recommended)

For all contract types, submit written notice via the support portal at support.mindbodyonline.com or email support@mindbodyonline.com with a clear subject line referencing account cancellation. Written notice must be received at least 30 days before your next billing date. Save a dated copy as proof.

Call the Client Engagement team (required for contracts)

If you are on a fixed-term contract (12, 24, or 36 months), you must call the Client Engagement team directly: US (877) 755-4279 or Canada (855) 852-0418. Regular support agents cannot process cancellations — ask specifically for the Client Engagement team and state you are calling to cancel your subscription.

Export your data before cancellation date

Before your final billing date, export all business data (client lists, visit history, sales, memberships) from the 'Reports' section. Access ends on the final billing date; post-cancellation data export assistance may be available for up to 30 days for an additional fee.

Confirm cancellation in writing

Request a written confirmation email from Mindbody stating the exact cancellation date and the amount of your final charge. Do not consider cancellation complete until you receive this confirmation.
