Is Cachet a paid service?

No. Cachet (cachethq.io) is a free, open-source, self-hosted status page system. There is no paid subscription to Cachet itself. The 'subscription' feature refers to email notifications that end users sign up for to receive incident and maintenance alerts from a company's Cachet-powered status page.

Will I still receive emails after unsubscribing?

No. Once you click the unsubscribe link in any notification email and the confirmation is shown, you will no longer receive incident or maintenance notifications from that status page.

Can I re-subscribe after unsubscribing?

Yes. Visit the Cachet status page URL of the organization and click the 'Subscribe' button to enter your email address again and opt back in to notifications.

Is there any data retained after I unsubscribe?

Cachet is self-hosted, so data retention depends entirely on the organization operating the status page. Contact that organization directly if you want your email address fully removed from their records.

What if the unsubscribe link doesn't work?

Contact the company or team that runs the status page and ask them to manually remove your email from their Cachet subscriber list via their admin dashboard under Dashboard > Subscribers.

Are there any cancellation fees?

Locate the unsubscribe link in email

Open any incident notification email you received from the Cachet-powered status page. Scroll to the bottom of the email and click the 'Unsubscribe' link included in every notification.

Confirm unsubscription on the status page

Clicking the unsubscribe link redirects you to the status page's subscriber management page. A confirmation message is displayed indicating you have been successfully unsubscribed from future notifications.

Alternative: contact the status page owner

If you cannot find an unsubscribe link, visit the status page directly (the URL will vary per company using Cachet) and look for a 'Subscribe' or 'Manage Subscription' button. If unavailable, email the organization running the status page to request manual removal.
