Do I keep access after cancelling?

Yes. Cancellation takes effect on the last day of your current billing cycle, so you retain full access to Freshcaller until that date. You will not receive a refund for the remaining days.

Can I get a refund for unused time?

No. Freshworks' terms of service state that fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period.

What happens to my data and phone numbers after cancellation?

Account data (call logs, recordings, contacts, IVR configs) is deleted on the cancellation date shown during the flow. Phone numbers assigned to your account are released when the subscription ends. If you want to keep a number, initiate a port-out to another provider before cancelling by emailing support@freshcaller.com.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Yes, but it is not self-serve. You must email support@freshcaller.com to request reactivation. Reactivation must be done before your data deletion date — once data is purged it cannot be recovered.

Can I downgrade to the free plan instead of cancelling?

Yes. Freshcaller has a $0/agent/month free plan with limited features. Go to Admin > Billing and switch to the Free plan. The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Note that per-minute call charges still apply on the free plan.

Who can cancel the Freshcaller account?

Only an Account Admin can access Billing settings and initiate cancellation. If you do not have admin access, contact your account's admin to perform the cancellation.

Log in as Account Admin

Log in to your Freshcaller account at yoursubdomain.freshcaller.com. Only an Account Admin role can access billing and cancellation settings — regular agents cannot perform this action.

Open Admin Settings

Click the gear icon (Admin Settings) in the left sidebar or top navigation to enter the admin panel.

Navigate to Billing

In Admin Settings, click 'Billing'. This takes you to yoursubdomain.freshcaller.com/admin/billing where your current plan, next renewal date, and usage are displayed.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Scroll down on the Billing page and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button. A screen appears showing the exact end date of your subscription (last day of the current billing cycle).

Click 'Proceed'

Review the cancellation end date shown on the confirmation screen, then click 'Proceed' to continue to the feedback survey.

Complete the cancellation survey

Select a reason for cancellation from the dropdown and answer all follow-up feedback questions in the multi-step survey. All questions are mandatory — you cannot skip to the final step. Click 'Next' after each section, then 'Submit' when done.

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Confirm Cancellation' on the final screen. Your cancellation request is now registered and takes effect on the last day of your current billing period. You retain full access until that date.
