Log in to your RuneScape account
Go to https://www.runescape.com and click 'Log In' in the top-right corner. Enter your Jagex account credentials (email and password).
Go to the subscription management page
Navigate directly to https://secure.runescape.com/m=billing_core/unsubscribe.ws — this is the Jagex billing portal for managing or cancelling subscriptions. Alternatively, from the RuneScape website sidebar, go to the 'Membership' section and select 'Cancel an existing subscription'.
Select your subscription to cancel
On the billing page, your active subscription(s) will be listed. Select the RuneScape Membership (or Old School RuneScape Membership) you wish to cancel. If you subscribed via Google Play or the App Store, you must cancel through that platform instead.
Choose a cancellation reason
A cancellation page will appear asking you to select a reason for cancelling from a dropdown list (e.g. 'Too expensive', 'Not playing enough', 'Technical issues'). Select the reason that applies.
Review the cancellation confirmation page
Jagex presents a confirmation screen summarising what you'll lose (member benefits, access to members-only content). The page also offers a final option to 'Keep my membership'. If you want to proceed, do not click that button.
Click 'Confirm Cancellation'
Click the 'Confirm Cancellation' button to finalise. You will see an on-screen confirmation that auto-renewal has been disabled. Your membership benefits continue until the end of the current billing period.
Check email for confirmation
Jagex sends a cancellation confirmation email to the address on your account. Keep this as proof that auto-renewal was cancelled successfully.
